The Pumpkins Staff
We are
incredibly proud of the commitment and dedication of our staff team and
the emphasis that is placed on supporting staff in their continuing
professional development. To this end two members of our team were some
of the first in the country to achieve Early Years Professional status
in August 2007.
The Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC) and
its partners are developing this role supported by a set of national
standards set at graduate level which covers work with children from
birth to the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Those who
demonstrate these standards will be awarded early years professional
status (EYPS) which will be equivalent in level to qualified teacher
status (QTS).
